micah, I wholeheartedly concur with your continued espousal of this fantastic show. I don't think people talk about it nearly as much as it deserves. It's probably the best example I can think of of their ability to blend that transcendental aspect of what the did with a basic sort of infectious, irresistible groove. They hit a rhythmic groove from literally the opening chords of dark star and I swear the same fundamental feel of that groove pervades the rest of the performance - it's as cohesive as anything they ever did.

GOD, every time I remember this show I hit myself on the head for not listening to it once a week!
